What is the in-store returns and exchanges policy and processes?

For items purchased in a Tiffany & Co. boutique in Australia, our terms of sale are as follows:


Tiffany & Co. (Australia) Pty Ltd acknowledges that certain consumer rights will apply when buying products or services in Australia, including the “consumer guarantees” provided pursuant to the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these Terms of Sale is intended to limit or otherwise exclude any such rights. 


Tiffany & Co. (Australia) Pty Ltd does not offer a refund for change of mind, however unless otherwise provided by law, articles may be accepted for non refundable store credit or exchange for other product in Australia by Tiffany & Co (Australia) Pty Ltd at the absolute discretion of the company if returned in saleable condition within 30 days, and accompanied by a sales receipt or gift receipt. Merchandise must be new, unworn, and in the original packaging. Some exclusions may apply. 

Please note that unless otherwise permitted by applicable law, items that are personalised with engraving, etching, embossing and other services may not be returned or exchanged for change of mind, and fragrance must be returned in its original packaging (including seal stickers) and in saleable condition. Acceptance of change of mind fragrance returns for exchange or non refundable store credit is at the absolute discretion of Tiffany and Co (Australia) Pty Ltd.


Non refundable store credit or “Tiffany Merchandise Credit” is valid for 12 months from issue. Such credit can only be redeemed in a Tiffany & Co. location within Australia (excluding online). Credits are transferrable and cannot be re-issued if lost or stolen. Credit may be issued in the form of Tiffany gift cards at the discretion of the company, in which case a three year expiry period will apply.


Consumers may be entitled to a refund for faulty products under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable consumer law. Tiffany & Co. (Australia) Pty Ltd reserves its right to repair or replace an item before offering a refund where permitted by law. Where a refund is offered to the consumer, returns processed as a refund will be processed in the form of the original tender to the purchaser. For cash payments, returns will be processed via a wire transfer.
