Showcasing Tiffany’s extraordinary diamonds and unparalleled artistry, the collection embodies joy, optimism and possibility.

An Icon of the Imagination
One of the 20th century’s most revered jewellery designs, the Bird on a Rock brooch was designed by Jean Schlumberger for Tiffany in 1965. Capturing the visionary artist’s enduring fascination with nature, the brooch was inspired by rare birds that he encountered during his travels to Asia and the Caribbean.

The Argyle Edition
Uplifting vibrant Argyle Pink™ diamonds, the inaugural Legendary Bird brooch, introduced in 2025, captures the bold artistry of Bird on a Rock while celebrating the House’s mastery of rare gemstones.
Behind the Design
Artisans crafted this year’s Legendary Bird: The Sapphire Edition at the Tiffany High Jewellery workshop. The central gemstone is artfully framed by figural Bird on a Rock motifs and floral-inspired designs, bezel-set with thin, custom-cut black opal doublets and mother-of-pearl. The floral themes draw inspiration from the House’s famed orchid motif, often observed in the iridescent favrile glass Tiffany lamps of the turn of the 20th century.
Exceptional Craftsmanship
Each Bird on a Rock brooch is created by a team of Tiffany artisans who bring years of experience and the utmost passion to their craft. More than eight artisans work together to bring a single brooch to life over the span of 50 hours, a testament to the spirit of exceptional craftsmanship that has defined Tiffany for nearly two centuries.
Rainbow Bird on a Rock
The Rainbow Bird on a Rock collection is a celebration of colour, imagination and unexpected harmony. Each creation begins with the gemstone: its tone, energy and character guide the bird’s gesture, resulting in designs that come alive with movement and personality. This is Tiffany & Co.’s most adventurous exploration of colour and materials, pairing rare and unusual gemstones with the 19th-century art of paillonné enamel, sculpted stone and playful textures in ways rarely seen in high jewellery.
